Quick preview opens a record in a panel on the right side of the screen while you stay on the list. Use it to check an invoice, a ticket or a contract, move down the list, and only open a full page when you need to.
Quick preview is built for wide screens. It isn’t available on a phone or in a narrow browser window. It is also switched on account by account, so you may not see it yet.

Open a preview

You can open a preview in two ways:
  • Press Space. Rest your pointer on a row, or move to a row with the keyboard, and press Space. The preview for that row opens, and Peek mode turns on.
  • Turn on Peek mode. Use the Peek mode switch in the table’s toolbar. With it on, resting your pointer on a row opens its preview, and the panel follows you from row to row. It closes when your pointer leaves both the rows and the panel.
Press Space again to turn Peek mode off and close the panel. LiftAI remembers the Peek mode setting for each table in that browser.

Move around the preview

The preview shows the record’s details in one compact column, plus its document where it has one. Buttons that change the record, such as Edit or the invoice decision buttons, appear only if your role allows them. Opening a preview never starts an AI review by itself. If a row has none yet, the preview offers Run AI review. Tickets have no page of their own, so a ticket preview has no Open full page button.

Show document

On the Spendings, Tickets and Contracts lists, a row with a document has a Show document link under its number. Select it to open the document directly. On Spendings and Contracts, selecting anywhere else on the row opens the record’s full page. Tickets have no full page, so a ticket row expands with its expand control instead.

Where it works

Quick preview is on these lists:
  • Needs Attention, where the preview shows the invoice, contract or elevator an item points at
  • Custom Tasks
  • Properties
  • Tickets
  • Spendings
  • Contracts
  • Elevators
  • AI Pipeline Uploads
It is also on the tables inside invoice, elevator, property and contract pages, such as linked tickets, contracts, invoices and elevators. On those pages, Open full page opens the record in a new tab.
