LiftAI has two main navigation areas: the sidebar down the left edge for moving between sections, and the top bar for search and quick actions. Which items you see depends on your role — see Understand your role and what you can access.

The sidebar

The icon rail on the left is how you move between the main sections of LiftAI. Depending on your role, you may see:
  • Insights — interactive analytics dashboards, such as maintenance performance.
  • Portfolio — your properties and portfolio-level performance.
  • Tickets — service and repair tickets across your properties.
  • Spending — invoices and invoice review.
  • Contracts — service contracts for your properties.
  • Compliance — certificates, inspections, and violation tracking.
  • Admin — user and account management. Shown only to Group Admins.
  • Tools — internal data utilities. Shown only to LiftAI staff accounts.
Items you do not have access to simply do not appear. For example, Spending and Compliance are not shown to most Clients, and Admin appears only if you are a Group Admin.

Bottom of the sidebar

Unlike the labeled sections above, the controls at the bottom of the sidebar are icon-only — there are no text labels. From top to bottom:
  • Help Center (question-mark icon) — opens this help site at help.liftai.com.
  • Request Support (headset icon) — opens a short form to contact the LiftAI team. See Get help and contact support.
  • Log out (exit-arrow icon) — signs you out of LiftAI.

The top bar

The bar across the top of most pages holds search and quick actions:
  • Search — universal search across your data. Open it with the search box or the keyboard shortcut (⌘ + K on Mac, Ctrl + K on Windows). Available to Consultants.
  • What’s New — the bell icon opens recent product updates. A dot on the bell means there are updates you have not seen yet.
  • Ask Lift AI — opens the Lift AI assistant, which answers questions about your portfolio. Available to Consultants. See Ask the assistant.
  • Review Pending — a shortcut to invoices awaiting review, with a badge showing how many are pending. Available to Consultants.
  • Upload — upload a document (such as an invoice or compliance certificate) for processing. Available to Consultants.
Some pages also show filters beneath the top bar so you can narrow what you are viewing. The exact filters depend on the section you are in.
