You can correct or fill in a lift’s (elevator’s) information — its name, specifications, compliance test dates, and more — directly from the property’s Elevators tab.
Editing a lift is limited to the consultant role. The Elevators tab where you edit lifts is on a property’s detail page, which only consultants can open. If you don’t see the edit action, your role doesn’t have edit access.

Edit an elevator

1

Open the Elevators tab

From the property’s detail page, select the Elevators tab. See View an individual lift.
2

Open the row actions

At the end of the elevator’s row, open the actions menu and select Edit. The Edit Unit dialog opens (it’s labelled Edit Lift in UK workspaces).
3

Update the fields

Change any of the fields — for example License, name, critical-unit flag, device type, installation and modernization years, landings, speed, capacity, controller model, drive type, OEM, and the SSPI, CAT-1, and CAT-5 test dates. The name is required.
4

Save

Select Save. The button shows “Saving” while the change is recorded, then the dialog closes and the table reflects your edit.
Keeping compliance test dates (CAT-1, CAT-5, SSPI) current here keeps the Compliance views accurate. See Compliance dashboard.
