You can add LiftAI to Claude as a connector, then ask Claude about your portfolios, tickets, invoices, elevators, compliance, and vendors. Claude looks up your data with read-only LiftAI tools, much like the Lift AI Assistant does, and it sees only what you can already see in LiftAI.
Connecting Claude is a consultant feature, and it’s rolled out gradually. If LiftAI tells you the connector is disabled for your account, it isn’t turned on for you yet. It’s also off whenever the Lift AI Assistant is off for you. See Get help.

Before you start

You sign in to the connection with your LiftAI email and password. If you usually sign in with an emailed link and have never set a password, set a password first. Whether you can add a custom connector in Claude depends on your Claude plan and role. If you don’t see the option, see Claude’s help article Get started with custom connectors using remote MCP.

Connect Claude

1

Add LiftAI as a connector in Claude

In Claude, add a custom connector and enter this URL:
LiftAI doesn’t give you a client ID or secret. If Claude asks for one, leave it blank. Claude then opens a LiftAI page in your browser.
2

Sign in to LiftAI

On the Sign in to Lift AI page, enter your LiftAI email and password, then select Sign in.
3

Review what you're allowing

The next page names the application asking to connect and lists what it will be able to do, whose data it can read, what it can’t do, and how to turn it off later. It also shows the address LiftAI sends the connection to.Claude registers itself when you add the connector, so LiftAI can’t confirm who runs it and marks it as an Unverified application. That’s expected here. Continue only if you started the connection from Claude yourself and the address shown is claude.ai, or a program on this computer if you’re connecting from Claude Code.

Allow the connection

Select Allow to connect, or Cancel to stop without connecting anything. Once you allow it, go back to Claude and ask your question.

What Claude can do

Claude can look things up in LiftAI and read them. It can:
  • Find your portfolios, properties, and vendors by name.
  • List and read invoices, service tickets, and elevator units.
  • Read portfolio performance: callback and emergency callback rates, maintenance completion, on-time response, a monthly trend, figures by property and by vendor, and spend by category.
  • Show maintenance coverage for a property or elevator: which maintenance periods are done, partial, skipped, have no record, or are still open, with the visits behind each one.
  • Summarize callbacks and entrapments per elevator, with each elevator’s annual rate and the allowances in its contract.
  • List certificates that expire soon and violations that are still open, most urgent first.
  • Look up and read articles in the LiftAI help center.

What Claude can’t do

The connection is read-only. Claude can’t create, change, or delete anything in LiftAI, including invoices, tickets, documents, and settings, and it can’t upload documents. To act on something Claude finds, open it in LiftAI.

Whose data Claude can read

Claude reads the same records you see when you sign in to LiftAI: properties, tickets, invoices, and compliance records in the customer accounts you belong to. Elevator units reach a little further, as they do in LiftAI itself. Claude can also read units on properties your consultancy manages, or on a billing account you belong to, even when the property is in a customer account you aren’t a member of.
Claude’s answers are generated and can be incomplete or wrong. For decisions that matter, check the record in LiftAI.

Disconnect Claude

  • In Claude: remove the LiftAI connector. Claude stops calling LiftAI.
  • At LiftAI: to revoke the access on LiftAI’s side as well, email support@liftai.com and say which application to disconnect.
  • Change or reset your password: this disconnects Claude, along with every other connection on your account. You can reconnect afterwards with your new password.
If your LiftAI account is deactivated, its connections end too. A connection you don’t use for 14 days stops working on its own; connect again to keep using it.
