The Lift AI Report Tool builds your portfolio report live from LiftAI data each time you open it. It compares two selections side by side, such as last month against the month before, and you can print the result or save it as a PDF.
The Report Tool is in Beta and rolled out gradually. If your sidebar shows Insights rather than Reports, you have the report archive only. See Which reports are available to me.

Open the Report Tool

1

Go to Reports

Select Reports in the sidebar. The page opens on the Lift AI Report Tool tab.
2

Choose a portfolio

The report covers one portfolio at a time. Pick it in the Portfolio filter at the top of the page. To narrow the report further, pick one or more regions in the Region filter. See Filter a report.
3

Wait for it to load

The report is calculated when you open it, so the first load can take several seconds.
The top of the report names the latest month it covers, the currency of its amounts, the portfolio and any regions it’s scoped to, and when its data was read (Data as of). If your company has a logo in LiftAI, it appears at the top as well.

Which months the report covers

The report covers completed months only. The latest month in it is the last full month, once a few days have passed for that month’s tickets and invoices to arrive. Early in a month, that can still be the month before last.

Compare two selections

The report opens on a comparison of its latest month against the month before. To compare something else:
1

Choose what to compare by

Use the By menu to compare by Period, Property, Region, or Vendor. Property, region, and vendor comparisons are marked Beta.
2

Choose the two sides

Pick side A and side B. For a period comparison, pick a month or range of months for each side, or select one of the examples: Month, Quarter (the last two complete quarters), 12 months, or Year to date (the year up to the report’s latest month, against the same months a year earlier).
3

Read the differences

The report redraws with both sides. Differences are measured from A to B, so put the earlier period in A. Summary figures show A, B, and the change between them. Charts show both sides together, each in its own color.
When you compare two properties, regions, or vendors, both sides cover the same time span, so the figures are comparable. On any axis, sections that can’t be compared that way are left out and named at the end under Not compared on this axis. A period comparison, for example, leaves out the property and elevator counts, because LiftAI doesn’t record how many you had at a past date. The report includes callback and emergency figures, callback rates per elevator over time and by service provider, and invoice and proposal review totals when the portfolio has them. A period comparison also has a Property Breakdown table with every property on both sides.

Print or save as PDF

Select Print next to the report title. Only the report prints, without the LiftAI sidebar, the filters, or the comparison controls. To save a PDF, choose Save as PDF (or your browser’s equivalent) in the print dialog. The suggested file name describes the comparison.
The Report Tool has no share link. To send a comparison to a colleague, save it as a PDF and attach it.
