# See what's new in LiftAI

> How to use the What's New bell in the top bar to read recent product updates.

The What's New bell in the top bar keeps you up to date on recent LiftAI product updates. A red dot tells you there's something you haven't read yet; open it to see the latest changes.

## Read recent updates

<Steps>
  <Step title="Find the bell">
    Look for the bell icon in the top bar. A small red dot appears on it when there are updates you haven't seen.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the panel">
    Select the bell. A panel opens listing recent updates, newest first. Each entry shows a title, its date, a short summary, and any tags.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Read the full update">
    Select an update's title to open the full details in a new browser tab.
  </Step>

## About the unread indicator

The red dot reflects updates published since the last time you opened the panel. Opening the panel marks everything as read and clears the dot. If there are no updates to show, the bell doesn't appear at all.
