# Quick-navigate with the command palette

> How to use the command palette's navigation actions to open Portfolio, Tickets, or Spending instantly.

Besides searching your records, the command palette lists a few navigation actions that open major sections of LiftAI in one step — no menus, no clicking around.

  The command palette is available to the **consultant** role.

## Open a section in one step

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the palette">
    Press **Cmd+K** on a Mac or **Ctrl+K** on Windows, or select the **Search** box in the top bar.

  <Step title="Pick a navigation action">
    With the search box empty, the palette shows a **Navigation** group. Select one of the actions to go there:

    * **View Portfolio** — opens your portfolio.
    * **View Tickets** — opens the tickets list.
    * **View Spending** — opens the spending view.
    * **Logout** — signs you out of LiftAI.

<Tip>
  The navigation actions only show while the search box is empty and the **All** category is selected. As soon as you start typing, the palette switches to showing matching records instead.
