# Find invoices awaiting your review

> Invoices waiting on your review appear in your Work Queue as "Invoice review" items — here's how to find and open them.

Invoices waiting on your review appear in your **Work Queue**, the ranked list of everything across your portfolio that needs attention. There's no separate pending-invoices button to hunt for — the work comes to one place.

<Note>
  Reviewing invoices is limited to the **consultant** role. If you don't see the **Work Queue** in your sidebar, your role doesn't include invoice review.

## See how many are waiting

The count beside **Work Queue** in the sidebar shows how many items need attention across your portfolio, invoices included. When it's clear, nothing is waiting on you.

## Open invoices awaiting review

    Select **Work Queue** in the sidebar. It's also your home page, so signing in lands you here.

  <Step title="Filter to invoice reviews">
    Set the **Issue type** filter to **Invoice review** (or **Proposal review** for proposals) to see only the documents waiting on your review. See [Filter your Work Queue](/work-queue/filter-your-work-queue).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open one to review it">
    Select a row, or **Review →**, to open the invoice and work through its review tabs.
  </Step>

<Tip>
  Items where Lift AI has a recommendation show an **AI suggests** chip, and a suggested rejection rises to the top as Critical. See [Understand the "AI suggests" verdict](/work-queue/understand-ai-suggestions).
