# Reset your password

> How to reset a forgotten password using the link on the login page.

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it from the login page. LiftAI
emails you a secure link, and you choose a new password from there.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the reset page">
    On the [login page](https://amp.liftai.com), select **Forgot your password?**.

  <Step title="Enter your email">
    Type the email address your account is registered under and select
    **Reset Password**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check your email">
    If that email is associated with a LiftAI account, you will receive a message
    with a link to reset your password. For your security, LiftAI shows the same
    confirmation whether or not an account exists, so the message does not reveal
    which emails are registered.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set a new password">
    Open the link from the email. Enter your email, your new password, and confirm
    the new password, then select **Reset Password**. You are signed in
    automatically once the reset succeeds.

<Note>
  The reset link comes from email, so check your spam or junk folder if it does
  not arrive within a few minutes.
