# Set up your account from an invite

> How to activate your LiftAI account from an invitation email and set your password.

When your organization adds you to LiftAI, you receive an invitation by email.
Activating your account means setting the password you will use to sign in at
[amp.liftai.com](https://amp.liftai.com).

  <Step title="Open the invitation email">
    Find the LiftAI invitation in your inbox and open the link it contains.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create your account password">
    On the sign-up screen, enter your email address, choose a password, and confirm
    it. Select **Sign Up** to finish.

  <Step title="Start using LiftAI">
    Once your password is set, you are signed in and taken to your default landing
    page. From then on, sign in with your email and password. See

  Your access level (Consultant, Client, or Service Provider) is assigned by your
  organization, not chosen during sign-up. To learn what your role can see and do,
  read [Understand your role and what you can access](/getting-started/your-role-and-access).

  If you cannot find the invitation, check your spam or junk folder. If it still
  has not arrived, [submit a support request](/support/submit-a-support-request)
  and the LiftAI team can re-send it.
